Outstanding gentle quarter horse gelding. Use him as a cowhorse, 4H horse, trail horse, husband horse $6,000 SOLD

“Little Bits” is a nice gelding to take to the mountains. Trained by Wil Howe of Oregon, Little Bits has a very nice handle on him. He’s light and responsive, necks reins very well, takes a nice light leg cue, and is generally a very well broke horse. Wil, who specializes in training trail horses, did a nice job on this gelding. However, I wouldn’t be afraid to work cows on this horse, because he’s got all the training and breeding to be a successful cowhorse.

A great-grandson of the famous stallion Doc O’Lena, Little Bits has a great pedigree. His grandsire on the bottom side is Doc Ouray, and his sire is Ourays Little Lena. His build follows those cutting horse bloodlines—at 14.2 hands, he’s larger than most cutting horses these days. Little Bits has a nice stout build and good withers to carry a saddle. For a rider who likes a shorter horse for an easy mount and dismount, this horse is ideal.

This gelding is nice and gentle, easy to catch, load, and shoe, and he has good manners. This is an all-around good horse for a rider who wants a very well-broke, trustworthy horse.
